Hello. Hello. I haven’t posted anything this September at all. WHELP! It was such a hectic month! So here is a quick overview of what’s happened, what I’ve read and what I’ve watched.
First thing, the first of the month was my birthday so we took a trip to Universal Studios to celebrate. I got to go to Hogwarts, get a wand, drink some Butterbeer, visit Springfield and so much more. With my luck though we were there during one of the hottest days this month. YIKES. Then my brother got married and then all my weekends were filled with things to do with friends who wanted to celebrate my birthday. So all I had time besides all of that was work, eat, read and sleep. (My mental and emotional health was also all over the place this month, so that’s that.)
One thing I did love this month was that we visited The Winchester to see what new decorations were up. We go about once a month because our little one loves the gardens, and we checked out Christine McConnells gingerbread recreation of the house. It was beautiful and the pictures I took do not do it justice. She did post a video of her making it on her youtube channel that you can see over here. I’ve been a fan of Christine for a long time and it was awesome to be able to see one of her creations up close and personal.
Luckily I was able to squeeze some time in to watch Amazon’s Undone. I highly recommend it if you can watch it, it’s beautifully done. The art is amazing, the actors are amazing, the story is amazing. It is for sure one of my favorite things this year. If you’ve watched it let me know what you thought about it!

As for reading wise, I read a total of 11 books and they were all for the Hogwarts House Battles Readathon. Honestly, I was trying to read a different book for each prompt and I’m proud I made it to 11 at least!

I also started reading The Coldest Winter Ever but didn’t get to finish it, so I aim to finish it in October.
How was your September? What did you read? What did you watch? And as always, thanks for stopping by.

You had a great reading month! I’ve had my eye on Open House!
